Join us for an exciting two-part class to learn the basics of epoxy in woodworking and create your own stunning serving board.
Part 1 of the class will take place at Timber & Ash Designs located at 2915 South Washington St, Grand Forks at 7pm June 20th, 2019. During this session you will learn about the different types and basic applications of epoxy. You will also choose the wood for you serving board, assemble your epoxy form and pour the epoxy, creating your one of a kind serving board.
Part 2 of the class will take place at Grand Forks Makerspace located at 1503 Demers Ave, Grand Forks at 7pm June 27th, 2019. During this session you will remove your serving boards from the form, plane and sand them smooth and finally polish them with a beautiful food grade finish.
No prior woodworking knowledge is necessary to take part in the class. The instructors will be happy to walk each individual through the processes and assist with any tools that will be used.
