Fire Tiger

Poking out from under a pile of wood, a rough cut maple slab coming in at nearly 3" thick caught my eye.  The natural browns and yellows combined to create a tiger stripe like appearance along the live edge and flame like design on the face.  The inspiration behind the final design lays hidden in the name as well.  A hardwax oil finish leaves the wood with a natural, soft feeling to the touch like a Tiger's coat and the raw steel legs represent the fierce strength of the animal.
